LET'S GET CREATIVE!

Let's Build a Community believes in the power of transformation—not just of materials, but of communities. We are proud to partner with talented local creatives to turn some of our local glass waste into stunning works of art.

Maureen Michaelis

Maureen loves working with broken and tumbled glass, ceramics, and tile to create sculptures, mosaics, jewlery, and more. She owns Blue Dot Mosaics.

Amy Smith

Amy adores sea glass and tumbles waste glass in a cement mixer. As the owner of AJ Made with Love,  she creates wire-wrapped sculptures and jewelry. She also coordinates Hillyard Party in the Park.

Jessica Veda

Jessica is the owner of The Grange Mercantile and Vedas Beads. She creates one-of-a-kind handmade lampwork beads and sells vintage finds, furniture, and decor.

🍾 "Where can I drop off my glass?"

Jess is currently hoarding glass containers in her parents’ garage after removing labels and distributes them to creatives when she can. Until we're able to find a better long-term storage solution and a few more helping hands, we are unable to schedule glass donations at this time.

🧑🏽‍🎨 "I'm a creative who works with glass!"

If you're a creative who works with glass and wants to join our efforts, please fill out this form and we'll get back to you soon!

✋ "How can I help?"

We are currently working to raise $20,000 for our glass operations, including financing a bottle crusher. Check out more of those details here. If you are interested in donating, please visit our donation page.

Do you have ideas for better storage? Want to help coordinate receiving or transporting glass donations? Do you want to volunteer with us? The best place to start is with our volunteer inquiry form, but if that doesn't suit your needs, please feel free to email us at info@LBACteam.org with your ideas, proposals, or requests to help.
