Together we will develop practical solutions for our waste that will improve quality of life, generate economic opportunities, and expand our workforce.

Glass can be reused countless times, is 100% recycelable, non-toxic, and can be turned into useful sand and gravel
Spokane County's glass waste currently ends up in the landfill
Our region lacks the equipment needed to reuse, recycle, or pulverize our glass into useful resources
Glass waste is HEAVY, takes up a lot of space, is hazardous to waste crews, and contaminates our other valuable recycleables

Glass Sand and Gravel
We're working to raise money for a small bottle crusher that will help us create landscaping material, aggregate for use in concrete, and so much more out of our glass waste!
Creative Upcycling
Creative Upcycling
We're working with a small batch of artists who are turning glass bottles into beautiful works of art, such as glass beads, jewelery, mosaics, and more!
Sanitization and Reuse
Sanitization and Reuse
We are working with Elz Tastes and Teas in Spokane Valley and Wildland Cooperative in Green Bluff to experiment with sanitizing glass bottles for reuse in our community!
